It is day 2 of the egg hatching, and the egg is starting to crack. Lexi is really loving this! She's always checking on her egg, and this evening she saw a little bit of yellow through one of the cracks.

There has been a bit of confusion regarding the egg. This egg is just a toy. (I know you love turtles Grandma, but we did not go out and get a turtle egg to hatch!)

On a sadder note, "fishy" is no longer with us anymore... :( But, today we went back to the pet store, and Lexi picked out a new fish! (I will post pics of "Bluey Blue Blue" soon!)
