Hi Everyone!
Lexi had surgery this morning, and everything went great! Better than expected, actually! The surgery was to remove Lexi's 8-plate on her femur, and place another 8-plate on her tibia. The 8-plate on her femur worked so well that she ended up not needing the other 8-plate...Woo Hoo!!!
The next surgery for Lexi will be her 2nd lengthening, but that won't be for a few years, and when she is ready for it. Our next appointment with Dr. Standard will be sometime this summer, for follow-up!
